Step 3. -Registration
🛠 Getting ready to hit the road!
It takes approximately 55 days to deliver your dream car from Japan to the UK.
We specialise in importing vehicles to the UK with care, keeping you updated throughout the process with live progress updates.
Once the vehicle is fully registered, we will supply and fit a Japanese-size number plate (330mm x 165mm) using premium acrylic plates, and ensure the car is fully cleaned before handover.

Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
“Company” refers to "Indy & Kent Collections Limited" (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "our company").
“Customer” refers to any individual or entity purchasing or using our vehicle-related services.
“Vehicle” refers to any car sold, repaired, or stored by the company.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Payment Methods
- All payments must be made in GBP (£).
- We accept the following payment methods:
- Bank Transfer
- Credit/Debit Card
- Cash (Maximum transaction limit: £1,000)
2.2 Payment Due Date
- All invoices must be paid within 7 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Late payments will be subject to penalties as outlined in Clause 2.3.
2.3 Late Payment & Penalty
- Invoices not settled by the due date will incur a 3% daily late payment interest, calculated on the outstanding balance.
- If payment is overdue by 30 days, the company reserves the right to suspend or cancel services and refer the debt to a collection agency or legal action. All related costs will be charged to the customer.
3. Vehicle Storage & Collection
3.1 Storage Fees
- If the customer fails to collect the vehicle within the agreed timeframe, the following daily storage fees will apply:
＊First 7 days: £10 + VAT per day
＊Days 8-14: £18.50 + VAT per day
＊After 14 days: £37.00 + VAT per day
- If the vehicle remains uncollected for over 60 days, the company reserves the right to take further action, including auctioning or scrapping the vehicle to recover unpaid fees.
3.2 Vehicle Collection
- Customers must collect their vehicle within 7 days after being notified. Failure to do so may result in the vehicle being deemed abandoned, and the company reserves the right to dispose of it accordingly.
- Customers requiring an extension must notify us in advance and agree to pay additional storage fees.
4. Deposit & Refund Policy
4.1 Deposit
- All deposits are non-refundable, except in cases where the cancellation is due to the company's failure to deliver the agreed service.
4.2 Cancellation Policy
- If a customer cancels the service after full payment, the company reserves the right to deduct administrative, transport, and documentation handling fees before issuing any refund.
5. Vehicle Sales & Warranty
5.1 Vehicle Condition
- All vehicles are sold as seen, unless explicitly stated otherwise in a written warranty.
- Customers are responsible for inspecting the vehicle before purchase. The company is not liable for any wear and tear or hidden defects in second-hand vehicles.
5.2 Warranty
- If a vehicle is sold with a warranty, the specific terms will be provided at the time of purchase.
- The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper repairs, or unauthorised modifications.
6. Legal & Dispute Resolution
6.1 Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be settled in the courts of England and Wales.
6.2 Liability Limitation
- The company shall not be liable for any indirect losses, including financial, business, or opportunity losses.
6.3 Force Majeure
- The company shall not be held responsible for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government regulations, or supply chain disruptions.
